Pepkor Lifestyle encourages persons to apply for a Wholesale & Retail SETA Funded Learnership. We are looking for young, energetic, and passionate individuals to participate in a 12-month Wholesale & Retail SETA-funded Learnership. These candidates will have an amazing opportunity to advance their careers in the Pepkor Lifestyle (HiFi Corporation, Incredible Connection, Bradlows, Sleepmasters, Russells, and Rochester).We provide excellent opportunities for candidates to enter the workforce. The primary purpose of this program is to create individuals who will contribute their full potential to the organization. The chosen candidates will receive experience in several areas of wholesale and retail. We provide Learnerships in the Retail Sector across all nine provinces.

Responsibilities

Topics to be covered during Learnership:

• Help customers on the shop floor (customer service).
• Marketing, merchandising, and maintaining displays.
• English Language Fundamentals.
• Math Fundamentals.
• Recording transactions and processing payments through the POS system.
• Understanding the Wholesale and Retail Environment.
• Open new accounts.
• Maintaining and managing stock losses.

Skills and Competencies

• Have a fantastic “can do” attitude.

• Fluent in English.
• Highly motivated.
• Demonstrating a willingness to learn and solve problems.
• Adaptability

Requirements

• Hold a Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (Matric or equivalent).
• Become a South African citizen with no criminal record.
