Job Description

To ensure that requirements for the quality of manufactured products are met.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor the quality of products manufactured according to the process control sheet. 
• Complete the necessary documents (process control sheet, tool and stillage repair request). 
• Visually inspect parts for faults. 
• Pack products in boxes and containers according to the packaging guidelines. 
• Ensure that ongoing measurements of parts are carried out and recorded. 
• Ensure the measurement equipment and inspecting fixtures are always in good working order. 
• Assist with tool changes and problem-solving on the production line. 
• Follow all safety, health, and environmental work guidelines, as well as the lockout procedure. 
• Maintain a clean working environment and production equipment.  (Domestic maintenance)

Skills And Competencies

• Manufacturing process  measuring equipment 
• Prescribed storage and packing procedures 
• Understanding the parts utilized in manufacturing 
• Understanding the OHS Act

Requirements

• Matric
  
  
• Min. 1 year experience in the manufacturing environment
  
  
• Min. 1 year experience on press tools or assembly process
  
  
• Min. 1 year experience and or background of Quality Systems
